Looking from an individual level, I think that we\u2019ll survive it, and we might be able to make the best of it by giving ourselves some \u2018me\u2019 time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if we look at it holistically, companies are facing the worst of times, the economy is failing, companies are on the verge of losing their business. It\u2019s a hard time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COVID 19 is one hell of a roller coaster ride. <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did I call it a rollercoaster ride? Well, because there are not only downs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, the \u201czoom app,\u201d the application gained massive popularity within two months post lockdown. The daily active user stats jumped from 10 million to 200 million post lockdown<\/strong>. That is phenomenal. Or look at \u2018slack\u2019 the best app to hold virtual office meetings. These apps are enjoying their time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not just that, many companies are branching out to bring forth more examples like that, the recent one being \u201cGoogle Meet\u201d, a platform launched by google to hold virtual conference meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quarantine or no quarantine, growth is on the mind of all the app owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whereas businesses like event management are still suffering, But a business owner has to do what he has to do, right? They have to keep working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest, I, too, have been swaying here and there due to the momentum. But there are surprisingly some people who are standing firm as if they do it every day. As if this is their routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And who are they? *drumroll please* our global app developers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why am I specifying on global app developers and not local app developers? Well, I have got a reason. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it is evident, s\/he will require more time to get acquainted with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, you were in contact with a global developer who has her\/his own resources, workspace, and experience. And since s\/he has always been working remotely, you can start with your work immediately!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if we compare, the life of a local developer has changed 180 degrees, whereas a global developer is the live example of the quote, \u201cif nothing changes, nothing changes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since COVID 19, a lot has changed. Companies are finding new ways to continue their functioning. And working from home has been the only solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

COVID 19 has brought this revolutionary change to the existing structure of a company\u2019s functioning. It has popped up the bubble we were all living in <\/strong>– the bubble that expected companies to hire local developers for better operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current times are proof that to ensure better performance among employees, higher profits, excellent knowledge transfer, and better control of the quality of work; you do not have to hire on-site developers. All this can be taken care of by distant working too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, local developers have a high chance of drowning if the tide turns violent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pandemic brought to life the saying \u201csky\u2019s the limit\u201d because it\u2019s actually true now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A company no longer has to restrict itself to one set geographical area to choose the right developer for itself. The whole world is now a collaborative space; you can find your developer from anywhere, anytime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lockdown has increased the scope of globalization and made us realize how interconnected we are. We might be miles apart, but we can be easily connected through one single click. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
